Companions of Paradise, Inc.

Companions of Paradise is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of people dedicated to performing good deeds.

We provide goods and services to those in need. 

Volunteers facilitate high quality learning by gaining knowledge and details about other people in the community that aren't doing as well as they are.  Many people in our community need food and clothing, or just want basic items such as batteries for their radio.  Our volunteers provide these needs and wants to people by using real world interpersonal skills to determine what each person needs or wants, purchasing the needs and wants, then delivering the needs and wants to the people.  Throughout the process the volunteers reflect on how much they have; how many people go through life without the ability to purchase needs and wants at will; and hopefully develop an understanding of what else needs to be done and figure out a way to do it.  SSL volunteers will organize orders provided by their supervisor.  SSL volunteers will use technology to pinpoint the most vulnerable people in need.
