Who We Are
We are an elementary school PTA near downtown Silver Spring / Takoma Park serving a high-needs school population by providing educational and extracurricular enrichment opportunities to students.
What Volunteers Do
We host a number of events throughout the school year to fundraise and build community such as a school carnival, basketball tournament, international night, STEM fair, etc. Volunteers (student and adult) could provide valuable service to our community by:
-volunteering at events to run games, supervise activities, sell tickets and concessions, set up and clean up
-beautifying and maintaining the school grounds
-running drives to collect school supplies and sports equipment / organize donations
-help in group setting with individual STEM Fair projects
