Citizens' Climate Lobby

Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization empowering people to experience breakthroughs exercising their personal and political power. Our three Montgomery County chapters (Bethesda/Chevy Chase, Gaithersburg/Germantown, and Silver Spring/Takoma Park) are among hundreds of chapters across the world working to create the political will for a livable world.

We work to create the momentum for meaningful climate change legislation, primarily at the federal level.  Our volunteers (both student and adult) lobby Congress, participate in grassroots outreach, and engage with community leaders on climate, work with media, and organize our local chapters.
