Who We Are
AWLMC's Mission Statement: To improve animal welfare in Montgomery County, Maryland by operating a no-kill shelter for adoptable cats and promoting responsible pet ownership.
What Volunteers Do
Our Volunteers daily care for homeless cats, assisting in their socialization and in finding them their FURR-Ever Home through adoption. In addition, through our Chompers Program we provide food to low-income Montgomery County residents for their cats and dogs, and work with local veterinarians to provide low-cost spay/neuter services for cats and dogs.
