Fellowship Baptist Church of Silver Spring

We are a faith-based organization that is open to anyone in need & looking for a church facility; our mission is to spread the good news of the gospel & to support the community.

Our mission is to support our community, assist those in need, and reach out to areas that promote positive support for our youth and children; we also look to partner with other organizations that have the same mission.

FBC was founded in 1988 and has been operating for more than 33 years.  

We have many volunteer opportunities within organization.  Listed below are examples of how volunteers can assist:

• Provide tutoring or mentoring to youth; academic support
• Provide support to the community by providing meals or services that may be needed (i.e., clothing, food, toys, etc)
• Social events open to the community require volunteers to assist with planning & coordinating activities
• Taking food, supplies, things of need to the shelter, homeless, etc
• Music support opportunities for musicians who can play & share their musical abilities to those in need 
• Volunteers with administrative skills or webmaster skills to provide organizational support
• Assisting with the maintenance areas of the church
