Who We Are
Laila's Legacy is focused on saving the lives of dogs impacted by breed bias (like in the case of dogs identified as a 'pitbull' or bully breed in PG County', behavioral or medical challenges, in shelters with a lack of resources and impacted by a lack of spay & neuter.
What Volunteers Do
We have a slew of options: - During the week / remote work as an Foster Counselor or Surrender Prevention Counselor - A mix of during the week/remote and onsite as a Adoption Counselor or Event Liasion -Only onsite for around 2 hours at an adoption event as a handler for a dog in need!
