Established by members of the Newah diaspora, NOA serves as a platform for Nepali Americans with Newah heritage to connect, celebrate their identity, and contribute to their local communities while maintaining ties to their cultural roots. The Newah people are an indigenous community native to the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, and their cultural heritage spans thousands of years.
