Sanskriti Inc

Sanskriti Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization in the DC Metro area. All Sanskriti events and activities are held in Montgomery County, MD. Sanskriti is one of the largest users of Montgomery County public facilities. Sanskriti promotes Bengali culture through outreach and events, supports worldwide charitable causes, performing arts, youth member activities, and fosters friendship and understanding between communities.

Sanskriti endorses and participates in a spectrum of community initiatives and events. At every possible opportunity during the past 50 years, Sanskriti has extended its supports to local and international charitable organizations. During the pandemic, Sanskriti took several efforts to help our senior community members. The organization is fully committed to enliven our legacy among the next-gen Bengali community.

Youth volunteers are assigned tasks during Sanskriti's four annual community events. Such work includes assisting senior citizens, assisting in backstage or help with prop works, assist with event registration, brochure and magazine, information desk, food, and youth activities such as performing arts and sports. Youth volunteers may also participate in online activities such as workshops and may assist the Sanskriti Board in maintaining and updating it's website and Social Network sites.
