What Volunteers Do
We are hosting a Juneteenth celebration. Logistics: Volunteers can help with setting up and tearing down event spaces, arranging tables and chairs, and ensuring that the event runs smoothly from a logistical standpoint. Assistance During the Event: Volunteers can serve as greeters, provide information to attendees, manage lines, assist with parking, and help ensure that guests are comfortable and enjoying themselves. Cleanup: After the celebration, volunteers can help with cleanup efforts to ensure that the venue is left in good condition. Security and Safety: Depending on the size and nature of the event, volunteers may also assist with security and ensuring the safety of attendees. Documenting the Event: Volunteers with photography or videography skills can help document the celebration for future reference or promotional purposes.
