Who We Are

Through the visionary lens of Eugene F. Ford, Sr., a multi-family apartment owner and developer, we were one of the first organizations in the country to design, create, and implement community service programs in affordable housing communities to support economic mobility. Community Services Foundation (CSF) works with investors, financial institutions, foundations, developers, owners, and property management companies to help them achieve their community impact goals.

Our work focuses on six key pillars:

Health and Wellness

Financial Capability

Youth Development

Seniors

Civic Engagement

Workforce Development

CSF’s ability to organize and execute community service programs helps build and maintain a more civic-minded and responsible community and as a result, we have positively impacted the lives of thousands of residents who live in affordable housing communities.

CSF is a nationally-certified CORES organization, which recognizes our commitment to developing robust community impact programming.  We currently work with over 20 owners, including Horning Brothers, Hudson Valley, and others to support their community impact objectives.

What Volunteers Do

Our dedicated volunteers play a vital role in helping our Site Coordinators provide essential services and programs for children, youth, and seniors. From assisting with after-school activities and organizing community meals to engaging with participants of all ages, our volunteers help create a welcoming and supportive environment. By offering their time and energy, they ensure that our community members can enjoy enriching experiences, nutritious meals, and meaningful connections.
