Halaqah Tingz

Halaqah Tingz is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization focused on increasing our intellectual and spiritual growth in the DMV. We strive to keep a space that’s judgement-free and fosters a place of learning. We love to serve the DMV Community. We host monthly Halaqahs, Community Workshops, Educational Programs, Charitable Initiatives, and more!

Some of our volunteer opportunities will involve any of the following:

• Event Planning and Execution: Volunteers can help organize fundraising events, community outreach activities, and awareness campaigns. They can assist with logistics, promotion, and on-the-day support.
• Administrative Support: They can assist with tasks like data entry, filing, and managing emails.
• Social Media and Marketing: Volunteers with skills in digital marketing can help manage your social media accounts, create content, and promote events and initiatives. If they do not have these skills, we can help them learn!
• Fundraising Efforts: Volunteers can help with donor outreach and organizing fundraising campaigns.
• Community Outreach: Engaging with the community through outreach efforts, such as attending fairs, giving presentations, or distributing materials, helps raise awareness about our mission.
• Program Support: Volunteers can assist in delivering programs or services, whether it’s mentoring, tutoring, or providing direct support to beneficiaries.
• Research and Evaluation: Volunteers can help with research, collecting data, or assessing program effectiveness, contributing to your organization's growth and improvement.
• Advocacy and Awareness: Volunteers can act as ambassadors for your organization, helping to spread the word and advocate for your cause in the community.
