Who We Are

Touch4Life™ is a 501c3 nonprofit that empowers Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC) communities to achieve cancer health equity by bridging the gap in knowledge and access to engaging, educating, and empowering information and clinical diagnostic services to eliminate racial disparities in cancer outcomes. Focusing on biomarker and genetic testing, our signature Black Genes Matter™ initiative is changing the narrative with its multifaceted portfolio.

What Volunteers Do

Touch4Life offers many types of volunteer opportunities.

Event Day Volunteers: These volunteers serve on site to assist with various tasks at events such as registration and set up.

Community Champions" These volunteers are advocates in the community and in the digital space that support and promote Touch4Life’s mission and message. These volunteers are utilized as amplifiers of Touch4Life’s efforts, mission, and message.

Clinical Champions: These volunteers have medical expertise that they share with our organization to help serve our mission and commitment to health equity. They are champions of Touch4Life’s mission and are utilized for their clinical and medical expertise. Clinical Champions do not dispense medical advice. Touch4Life

Executive Ambassadors: The Touch4Life Ambassador Program is designed to utilize volunteers with specialized skills to help promote the mission and visibility of Touch4Life. These volunteers are typically executives of other organizations and serve as official representatives of Touch4Life at events, with media, donors, funders and board members. Touch4Life Ambassadors may also serve in volunteer leadership roles and may be asked to provide additional levels of expertise on specific matters.

Knowledge-worker Volunteers: This group of volunteers helps with marketing, fundraising, and other assignments as needed. The volunteer roles include: •Community Events Coordinator • Administrative Assistant • Blogger • Social Media Specialist • Project Coordinator • Development Specialist • Grant Researcher and Writer
