Montgomery County Women's Chorus

The nexus of two ideas lies at the heart of MoCo. One, a music-first ensemble where learning is valued and musical skills are developed. And two, an organization that lifts up women as performers, as creators, and as community leaders. MoCo is the next iteration in a long line of innovative organizations recognizing womens' valuable contributions to art and culture.

There are three categories of volunteer roles at MoCo: performers, board members, and specific support roles. Our performing roster is full at this time; we are seeking board members and technical support roles such as a social media manager and videographer. Our board meets once a month and is primarily tasked with creating a network of reliable fundraising from a variety of sources. An experienced grant writer, familiar with Montgomery County and DMV-area grants for arts organizations, is greatly desired.
