Eastern Montgomery County Emergency Assistance Network

We provide financial assistance to prevent evictions and utility disconnections. We also assist with prescription medication costs. We serve the following zip codes in Eastern Montgomery County: 20903, 20904, 20905, 20866, and 20868 which covers the geographic area along the New Hampshire Ave Corridor and Old Columbia Pike. Payments are made directly to utility companies, landlords, and pharmacies. All callers regardless of zip code receive a consultation, referral services, and a sympathetic ear.

Volunteers are essential to our ability to provide services to our clients. We are always looking to add to our team. Our volunteers assist with: answering phone calls, returning calls and follow-ups, completing call logs, conducting surveys, compiling data for monthly reports, filing, representing EMEAN at community events etc. Training is provided and being bilingual is a huge plus!e essential to our ability to provide services to our clients.
