Difference Maker Christian Business Alliance (DMCBA)

The Difference Makers Christian Business Alliance (DMCBA) is a non-profit ministry and public initiative of Difference Makers Church in Damascus, Maryland. We serve the general public—including, but not limited to, Christians—by offering accessible business resources, training, career development, networking, mentoring, and more. Our programs support business owners, students, career professionals, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and hobbyists as part of a broader commitment to local workforce and economic development, as well as multigenerational community wealth building. By equipping businesses and individuals with practical resources, tools, and knowledge, we aim to empower communities and contribute to lifelong learning, vocational growth, and the public good.

Volunteers support event operations by assisting with registration and check-in, greeting and directing guests, capturing and sharing social media content, and providing tech support for virtual attendees. They help set up and clean the venue, serve refreshments, manage hospitality areas, and ensure guests feel welcome. Volunteers also assist with workshop logistics, including timing presentations and guiding participants to breakout sessions with flexible 2–4-hour shifts based on availability.
