Who We Are

Aavanee serves as a voice for Women, Seniors and Families in Maryland in particular Montgomery county and Frederick county. The CaRe project is a Career Restart program for helping women with workforce training and internship help. STEM program for kids focusses on hands on projects to introduce and create interest in children as young as 2+ years age. Our South Asian Senior networking program is called Desi Senior Cafe' that meets twice a month that includes hot lunch, entertainment and informational seminars. The program is gaining interest in the community due to the dedicated service by volunteers.

What Volunteers Do

Volunteers

1. manage the outreach tabling events related to women empowerment, physical and mental health awareness.

2. They lead STEM programs and train/mentor younger children. 

3. The youth volunteers also serve the Senior citizens at their programs (technology, health awareness, Arts).

4. Participate in Workshops, Seminars or Presentations around Maryland.

5. Help with Flyers, website, survey forms, intake forms, registration, outreach.

6. Collaborative events with other non-profit organizations.
