Who We Are
The S. Christa McAuliffe Elementary School PTA is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization operating under the auspices of S. Christa McAuliffe Elementary School administration and the Montgomery County Council of PTAs (MCCPTA). We are dedicated to improving the educational experiences of our students and community.

What Volunteers Do
Middle and high school volunteers seeking student service learning (SSL) hours will be assisting with events held at S. Christa McAuliffe Elementary School in Germantown, MD under supervision of school administrators and/or members of the PTA. Event tasks could include setting up, cleaning up, serving food, and running activity booths. Most events will occur outside of normal school hours, and students will typically gain two SSL hours per event.
