Who We Are

The Hellenic Performing Arts Foundation (HPAF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating and preserving the rich cultural traditions of Greece through the performing arts, including music, dance, and song. Our mission is to enrich lives by creating diverse programs and events that invite all generations to learn, experience, and cherish the artistic heritage of Greece. Through our activities, we aim to inspire a deep appreciation for Hellenic culture while ensuring its continued vibrancy for future generations.

What Volunteers Do

Our dedicated volunteers are ambassadors who teach and perform traditional Hellenic folk dance, music, and song to help preserve and share the richness of Greek cultural arts. We offer weekly dance lessons for students of all ages, fostering both learning and community. Older students (grades 7–12) gain leadership experience by assisting instructors with younger groups and by performing at cultural events. Past performances include the Greek Embassy’s open house during Embassy Week and the Greek Independence Day celebration at the White House.
