The Eritrean-Ethiopian Union for Academic Excellence

The Eritrean Ethiopian Union for Academic Excellence (EEUAE) is a volunteer-led, educational nonprofit dedicated to supporting Eritrean and Ethiopian youth, particularly first-generation students and recent immigrants. We provide mentorship, academic guidance, and leadership development to help students succeed in school, build confidence, and contribute positively to their communities. Our work connects students across regions through collaborative programs, digital resources, and partnerships with universities and community organizations.

Volunteers support EEUAE’s mission by mentoring students, assisting with academic and leadership programs, and helping create a supportive educational community. Volunteers also research, write, and translate educational articles; produce social media and digital content; and assist with outreach initiatives to raise funds for student scholarships. Additional volunteer roles include helping organize programs, supporting partnerships, and serving as judges for student competition essays.
