Montgomery County Villages Consortium

Who We Are

Montgomery County Villages Consortium was created to strengthen established aging-in-place Villages and help new ones develop in underserved areas of Montgomery County. The Villages Consortium brings together local volunteer-led networks that help aging residents remain connected, independent, and engaged in their communities. By fostering collaboration and sharing resources, the Consortium strengthens our collective effort to make Montgomery County a place where everyone can age with dignity and choice.

What Volunteers Do

MCVC Volunteers serve on the board, provide pro-bono services, as well as provide services to community members through our fiscally sponsored villages. Village volunteers serve community members through providing rides, household or yard help, friendly visits, respite/caregiving visits, and organizing social, educational programming to reduce isolation and to build community.
