Shockers Baseball MoCo

Shockers Baseball MoCo is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and premier travel baseball organization located in Montgomery County, MD. Our mission is to provide a competitive travel baseball experience for youth baseball players in the county. We are dedicated to player development, teaching the skills needed for competitive play while emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and a commitment to personal growth. We strive to build character, foster resiliency, and promote camaraderie among young athletes through the game of baseball. By encouraging perseverance on and off the field, we foster an environment where each player can reach their full potential, support their teammates, and develop a lasting love for the game.

Volunteers have an opportunity to help in several ways. Volunteers help at tournaments by maintaining fields, coordinating logistics, moving equipment, and ensuring that games run smoothly at baseball fields across Montgomery County. Volunteers may help at practices and other events,, and assist players in practicing their sports skills and learning good sportsmanship. Volunteers may also assist with office work, like organizing equipment, helping coaches order and distribute their uniforms/equipment, and more.
