Montgomery County Government's Health and Human Services, Area Agency on Aging provides support and services to older adults, persons with disabilities and their care support partners.

Montgomery County's Caregiver Support Program facilitates public/private partnerships that promote, assist and expand supports for family caregivers. The program offers stimulating  roles that include: representing key community stakeholders on advisory groups; preparing articles for publication; undertaking research; outreach and engagement within in private sector; networking with civic organizations and diverse citizen focus groups. Opportunities encourage Montgomery County residents who are keen to contribute their work and life experiences to ensure that family caregivers are represented and are better able to navigate county resources.
