Gaithersburg Meals On Wheels, Inc.

Gaithersburg Meals On Wheels, Inc is an all-volunteer organization delivering meals daily, Monday-Friday, to area disabled individuals, of any age, who are homebound and cannot safely shop or prepare their meals. Drivers are needed at mid-day.

Meals are picked up at the Benjamin Gaither Center, 80-A Bureau Drive, Gaithersburg, MD, between 10:30 and 11:15 a.m. Monday -Friday. Containers are provided for carrying the meals, and delivery takes about 90 minutes, with 8-12 clients per route. Volunteers are asked to drive once every two weeks on average.  Children are welcome to accompany parents.
