Geneva Day School Summer Camp for Young Children offers a weekly recreational day camp for children ages two through six. We also offer winter and spring break camps.
Geneva Day School provides a developmentally and culturally appropriate early childhood education program for young children. Our experienced teaching staff understands how children grow and develop and that each child is unique and develops at his/her own rate. We offer guidance, assistance, and encouragement, along with the necessary materials and experiences to promote age-appropriate learning. Cultural education is woven throughout the curriculum to help children value other perspectives and learn how to be good friends to all. We foster confidence and happiness as children develop and encourage a lifelong love of learning.
What Volunteers Do
Geneva Day School Summer Camp for Young Children offers a weekly recreational day camp for children ages two through six. We also offer winter and spring break camps.
Student Volunteers would help and support the staff in their responsibilities as teachers and engage, play, and interact with students. They would be responsible for supporting staff with cooking, arts and crafts, gardening, water play, sports, playground activities, circle time, snacks, and science activities. Student volunteers would also perform duties and tasks assigned by the camp director, such as preparing and cutting materials for all campers.
