Jubilee Association of Maryland provides opportunities & support for adults with intellectual & other developmental disabilities to live in & enrich their community while fulfilling their personal, family, social, and spiritual needs.
The Association bases its work on a belief in the dignity and worth of all people, as well as their right to pursue happiness as full, respected members of our society.
Our Core Values:
Respect and Human Dignity. All those associated with Jubilee recognize the basic humanity of all people and treat them equally and with the utmost respect, regardless of their level of disability or role in relationship to the agency.
Community, Mutuality, & Service. Staff and board, working together, focus on the ideal of service beyond what is required so Jubilee can create a sense of community both within and outside the agency to enhance the lives of those we support.
Justice. Jubilee seeks not only to meet, but to exceed, minimum legal and regulatory requirements. We actively support justice on behalf of the people we serve and are committed to serving people across the racial and economic spectrum.
Diversity. Jubilee believes that the very act of coming together as a diverse faith community working to support and improve the lives of people with developmental disabilities celebrates and honors the traditions and faiths of all those who join the effort.
