

Who We Are
Kerala Association of Greater Washington (KAGW) is the pre-eminent organization for South Indian community in the Washington metro area serving for more than 35 years. It has served as the bedrock for all types of arts, cultural and literary activities for the South Indian community in this area.
What Volunteers Do
Kerala Association Of Greater Washington provides a forum for its members to meet and exchange views and to foster a spirit of friendship, goodwill, and understanding. The primary and distinguishing purpose of a cultural heritage organization like us is to bind the community together by promoting and preserving its identity, traditions, and values. The Association is committed to serving the community through its far-reaching programs and endeavors.
Student volunteers assist in preparing meals for the homeless, setting up the stage for various cultural events, helping with management of Talent Time competitions for youth and adults, road cleaning, management of various sports events and many more.
