Who We Are
SACCMD is part of the Sudanese American Community Development Organization (SACDO) of the Greater Washington DC Metro Area, a non-profit organization that aims to support and promote the health, education and social services needs of individuals of Sudanese heritage in the Washington area (SACDO Tax ID 52-2074785).
What Volunteers Do
The Sudanese American Community Cultural School at Silver Spring, MD SACCMD is one of Community-based organizations whose goals are to keep its students connected to their diverse Sudanese heritage and culture and at the same time strengthen their attachment to their American community. The school was established in 1997 and operated continuously until now. At this time, SACCMD is renting classrooms at Montgomery Blair High School in Montgomery County and available to Maryland residents.
