Who We Are
Our goal is to provide a fun, recreational experience where children can learn the benefits of physical fitness, teamwork, good sportsmanship and the work ethic while playing soccer on local fields in Takoma Park and Silver Spring. We are an all-volunteer group, and we serve a large proportion of children from low-income families who pay no league fees.
Games and training sessions take place on public sports fields under permits issued by Montgomery County Parks.
What Volunteers Do
Our teenage volunteers serve as referees or assistant coaches under the supervision of adult referees or adult coaches. The teens enforce the rules during games and help teach young players how to develop skills and understand teamwork during training sessions. They also model proper behavior and good sportsmanship.
