WSSC Water

WSSC Water provides safe drinking water and wastewater treatment to over 1.8 million people in Prince Georges and Montgomery counties. The Community Outreach Division of WSSC Water is active throughout both counties and can be found at community events, in schools, and providing hands on learning experiences around our 5600 acre watershed. 

The Patuxent River, Maryland's longest river runs through the heart of the state and serves as the source of drinking water for one-third of WSSC’s customers. As part of our commitment to environmental stewardship, we offer opportunities for community members to take part in protecting this important resource.
