What Volunteers Do
1/ Our flagship program, Little Malaika International is designed to provide leadership training and mentorship to boys and girls through relevant workshops, self-exploration and service in contributing to shaping the next generation of leaders and change agents. The program has two main aspects: a/ Little Malaika Competition: An annual competition during which boys and girls showcase some of the skills they learned during classes they receive through our program. Classes include leadership, public speaking, community service, positive competitiveness, volunteerism and community service. b/ Little Malaika Summer Leadership Camp: A month-long camp during which children gather for an extensive course in leadership and community service. Children graduate and receive certificate at the end of the camp. 2/ Cultural Exchange MILDOVE International strives to promote inter-cultural dialogue among diverse communities in the United States by engaging children and adults through a range of activities and events including artistic performances, concerts, sports, social and academic exchange. Through cultural activities, we create a platform to raise awareness and support to help children with Autism.
