Volunteer: Assisting the Vietnamese Culture Programs.Weekly: Viet My Cultural Center hosts Saturday Vietnamese classes from September to June for individuals ages 5 and up who are interested in learning about the language, culture, music, arts, and foods. Volunteering opportunities are as follows: Assist teachers by tutoring students. Assist students with proper class attire. Use leadership skills in assisting with special program events such as coordinating and setting up stage decorations and props. Use organizational skills to help keep programs on schedule. Assist in leading cultural and heritage activities.Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
