Volunteer: Garden Build Day: Help Plant the New Community Garden at BlackRockJoin the Community Design Lab for a hands-on Volunteer Build Day as we bring our student-designed conservation garden to life at BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown. This is the final step of our Spring Design+Build program, where local students and volunteers work side by side to transform ideas into a living landscape that supports pollinators, manages stormwater, and beautifies the community. You don’t need any special skills, just a willingness to dig in, plant, and learn. We’ll provide tools, gloves, and guidance. Together, we’ll install native plants like black-eyed susans, purple coneflowers, and butterfly weed, creating a lasting outdoor classroom and gathering space for all.
