Volunteer: Clean Up Trash and Recycling in the Glenmont Forest Neighborhood

Clean up trash with the with Glenmont Forest Neighbors Civic Association (GFNCA)

Join the Glenmont Forest Neighbors Civic Association on the second Sunday of each month from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM to help clean up trash and recycling in the Glenmont Forest neighborhood and surrounding areas.

You are welcome to participate as often as you’d like — monthly attendance is encouraged but not required.

Why It Matters

During rainstorms, discarded trash and recycling wash into storm drains and flow into rivers, lakes, and oceans. By removing litter from our neighborhood, we help prevent pollution and protect our waterways — even our drinking water. Together, we can make a visible difference in our community and environment.

Meeting Location: Little Library at Lindell St. & Judson Rd. Silver Spring, MD
