Volunteer: Sigma Youth Symposium 2026

Attention students grades 3-12! You're Invited to the  Annual Sigma Youth Symposium hosted by the Eta Theta Sigma and Eta Iota Sigma Chapters of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc (Montgomery County, MD).

 

Date: March 28, 2026

Time: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM (Doors open for registration at 8:45 AM)

Location: Forest Oak Middle School (651 Saybrooke Oaks Blvd, Gaithersburg, MD 20877)

 

Age-appropriate Workshops Include:

~Mindfulness

~Financial Literacy

~College and Career Exploration

~College Admissions

~Student Leadership & Advocacy

 

There will be raffles, a free nutritious lunch, and all students Grade 6-12 will earn 4 SSL hours for their active participation. 

 

Get ready for some fun! Join us as we support, serve, and empower youth educationally, civically, socially, physically, and emotionally.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization.
