CityFam, a nonprofit geared towards providing volunteer opportunities to people throughout Maryland and the Greater Baltimore area, is hosting its Soul'd Out Blessing Bags Event on Saturday, December 14th from 10:00am until 2:00pm at the Horseshoe Casino. There Goes My Hero will be attending and doing a bone marrow drive in order to sign potential lifesaving donors up for the bone marrow registry.
Volunteers will help walk donors through a simple swabbing procedure and educate them about the bone marrow registry. Please arrive by 9:30am if possible for a brief training or ask about doing an initial training at our office in Timonium. You can email thad.cwiklinski@theregoesmyhero.org with any questions.
