There Goes My Hero is hosting a bone marrow registry drive at the African American Community Roundtable Health Expo to add potential bone marrow/stem cell donors onto the bone marrow donor registry to increase blood cancer patients' chances of finding a match. Volunteers play a crucial role at drives like this one because they help us educate passerby on the importance of joining the registry and facilitate the swabbing process.
This event takes place on Saturday, April 6th, from 1pm-5pm. There are two volunteer shifts available from 3pm to 5pm.
If you have any questions about this volunteer opportunity or would like to learn more, please email andrea@theregoesmyhero.org.
