Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024
- Time: 2:00PM – 4:00 PM
- Location: Cabin John Shopping Center (In front of Giant Food)
Note: Transportation is not provided. Students need to have their parents drop them off at the event location.
Event Highlights:
- Distribute reusable bags to community members
- Educate residents on the importance of reducing plastic waste
- Engage with fellow volunteers and community members
- Make a tangible impact on our local environment
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Hand out reusable bags to passersby
- Provide information about the environmental benefits of reusable bags
- Encourage community members to adopt sustainable practices
- Help with event setup and takedown
