The Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County (AWLMC) is a 501(c)3, nonprofit, all volunteer no paid positions, NO Kill Cat Shelter!  WE are in need of an experienced Grant Writer to assist us in researching and writing successful grants in support of our Cat Shelter. Your talents will directly support our mission of assisting any and all Cats and Kittens seeking their new FURR-Ever Home.

Responsibilities:  (1) Work with our Grant Team in researching available grants from foundations, corporations and the Government (2) In coordination with the Grant Team develop potential clients (3) Help develop a tracking system on submitted grants (4) Work with the various AWLMC Teams for vital information necessary for a successful grant proposal

Qualifications: (1) Experience in grant writing preferred but not mandatory (2) Willing to work with a team

Location: This is a virtual volunteer opportunity with an occasional in person meeting if needed. Mostly meetings with your Grant Team will be via ZOOM to review work progress
