All good haunted houses have things that slide, slither, or fall, scaring visitors and making a dark corner a thing of fear. If you’d like to contribute to that dark corner – the Mystery Mansion needs you! We need creative help to imply ghosts, small animals, zombies, or perhaps a large spider are lurking just out of sight. No experience required, just a commitment to stay quietly in the background as you startle young children. Preference given to those who commit to performing for at least three of our seven evenings, October 21 to October 31. Join us for the creative team meeting and be ready to project your evil spirits!
All activities will comply with current CDC, Montgomery County and MCPS requirements to respond to the spread of COVID-19. Indoor events will take place in our auditorium or large meeting room, with social distancing possible and ample air circulation at all times. Masks will be required for volunteers and members. Do not attend an activity if you have any signs of illness or any confirmed recent exposure to COVID-19. Hand washing and hand sanitizer will be readily available.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
