We invite community members of all ages to join us in assembling spring baskets filled with love and goodies for children aged 13 and under. This is more than just assembling baskets; it's about creating moments of happiness and brightening the lives of those who may be facing challenging times.
Whether you're a seasoned volunteer, looking for a meaningful way to give back, or need some SSL hours - this opportunity will be festive, fulfilling, fun! You'll have the chance to connect with fellow community members while working towards a common goal of making a positive impact.
This event is MCPS approved so SSL hours will be given.
No special skills or experience are required – just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to spread kindness. Together, we'll fill each basket with care, knowing that it will bring a smile to a child's face.

Consider also spreading the word about our donation drive to ensure we have sufficient materials to fill these baskets with joy and fun for our neighbors. We are still seeking materials such as colorful baskets (approximately 12"x16"), chocolate bunnies, plastic eggs (2"), assorted seasonal candies, decorative paper grass, and handwritten cards to brighten a child's day. Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
