Together with Kailash and local community organizations, hundreds of young leaders will spend the afternoon engaging in service and learning skills for creating compassionate and sustainable community change. (This event is eligible for SSL hours for students!)
This is a public event open to people of all ages and backgrounds who care about building a more loving and peaceful world.
In partnership with St. Andrew Orthodox Ukrainian Cathedral, we are also collecting donation items for humanitarian relief in Ukraine. We request that attendees bring a donation.
- Medical Supplies: band-aids, Neosporin, Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Aspirin, vitamins, adhesive tape, antiseptic wipes, Vaseline.
- Nonperishable Foods: canned meat and vegetables, dry and canned soups, coffee, energy bars, candy/chocolate.
- Personal Hygiene: toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps, shampoo, lotion, deodorant.
NO LIQUIDS, NO BATTERIES, NO CLOTHING, NO USED ITEMS.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
