Everyone is invited to participate in the community chalk painting celebration of the summer! Students, families, professional and amateur chalkartists are invited to help fill one mile of the walking trails at Bohrer Park with summer colors & themes.  Grab a hat, put on some sunscreen, if you have some- bring knee pads or a garden kneeling pad (to protect your knees) and help color Gaithersburg Red, White & Blue for the 4th of July.  The City will provide chalk, music and excitement.  All students will receive SSL hours.  

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian  and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
