The City of Gaithersburg is partnering with the Newport Estates Community (just east of Olde Towne) to plant trees in their community. The joint effort will provide environmental benefits to the whole City while also enhancing neighborhood charm. Volunteers are welcome. Make sure to wear clothes that can get messy. SSL hours available.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
