Ever wanted to know how to build a dry stack stone wall ?!?!
Join us at the Community Food Forest this Sunday for the second hands-on session to build one, led by the Takoma Park-based Design-Build Landscape Architect Byrne H. Kelly. We’ll be finishing the rock terracing (hopefully) and then preparing the soil for planting.
And if you don’t feel like lifting heavy rocks on a Sunday, then please come and help plant shrubs and herbaceous perennials, and prepare some more beds in other sections of the food forest.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours.
