The Carry Crew is our logistical backbone! This role is a physically demanding but highly rewarding position that provides crucial support to both the Set-Up and Take-Down teams. You will be responsible for the continuous movement of heavier items—such as large boxes of supplies, display racks, and bulk materials—ensuring they get to and from the booth and transport vehicles safely.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary movers for the heaviest items during unloading and loading.
- Assist in transporting supplies between staging areas and the booth.
- Ensure clear pathways for all volunteers during set-up and take-down.
Requirements:
- Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
- Physical stamina and a strong work ethic are a must.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
