Join us for a one-day community facility cleanup at Zion Baptist Church. Volunteers will help clean and organize multipurpose rooms, fellowship hall, kitchen, and outdoor areas that support food distribution, educational workshops, and neighborhood events.
Duties / Impact:
Students will:
- Clean and organize fellowship hall and multipurpose rooms used for community events
- Deep clean and safety-check kitchen spaces that support meal programs
- Pick up litter and maintain outdoor areas for public safety
- Organize shared storage areas for community programming
Impact: Ensures safe, welcoming spaces for food distribution, youth programs, and neighborhood gatherings.
Age Minimum: 13+
Dress/Safety: Closed-toe shoes, modest work clothes, gloves provided.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
