The United Methodist Women at National UMC holds its annual book sale Friday - Sunday March 13, 14, and 15, with a Book Drive March 8. Volunteers will collect donations, set up and organize the books, publicize the sale, bake goodies for the Bake Sale, work the days and nights of the sale and help with clean-up. Our sale will support four organizations: Project Transformation DC, a summer camp which focuses on improving the reading skills of elementary school children; AsylumWorks, which supports asylum seekers with legal and employment assistance; FAIR Girls, which provides care to female survivors of human trafficking; and Give Ye Them to Eat, a United Methodist Mission in Mexico training people in agriculture, health, and technology. Looking forward to working side by side with you!
