This Friendraiser's purpose is to inform County residents, organizations and businesses about The Bernie Scholarship Awards Program, a nonprofit that provides annual financial awards to about 65 low-income students for college & training programs.
We are seeking SSL helpers who want to earn SSL hours by helping with set-up, food service and clean-up.
The Friendraiser will be a fun event including hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, music and speakers, including two awardees who will tell guests about their goals and challenges as they seek to complete a degree or certification.
