The City of Rockville is partnering with the Montgomery County Chapter of Project Linus to support their mission to “Provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets lovingly created by volunteer.” All the blankets made will be distribute to children in the Montgomery County area.
Duties to be Expected
- Follow directions independently.
- Use sharp Scissors to cut material.
- Being able to tie knots.
- Write a short note of encouragement.
This is a family friendly activity. Children under 16 can participate with adult supervision.
