Join Montgomery County DEP and Oakview Neighborhood and help clean an area in Oakview, Silver Spring (near intersection of Dilston Rd and New Hampshire Avenue). Exact location shared when volunteer registers.
Volunteers help with:
- picking up trash and sorting by type of trash
- weighing the types of trash and
- recording weights by type of trash on a data sheet
Gloves, bags, and tools will be provided for all cleanups.
Closed toe shoes required!
Anyone under 13 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult. SSL hours provided
